What a great day we just had at Geekfest 2015!
With an astounding turnout, there were many entries into this years Great Geek Challenge for Geekfest…
Many Entries and many winners!
Once again, a MASSIVE Special Thanks to our supporters at the festival: Dark Carnival, Cloudgate, ASW-Designs, Plushie Heaven, Powered By Fandom, Mini Donuts, ChipnDip, Mystical Crafts, Maurice’s Kenjitsu Academy, The South African Zombie Apocalypse Survival Guide, Fairy Fountains, Seeking a Prince, Miss Moan, Teana, JT DEsigns, AI FEST, Kulcha Kollektive, Silk Road, Assorted Novelty Magnets & Signs, Craft Monger, Sin Bin, Vile, African Goddess and Blue Bubblegum!
Firstly, We will start out with our “High Flyer”, Who managed to successfully score the highest this challenge. None other then a returning champion, Stephen Friedman manages to claim the title of Geekfest GGC Champion with an astounding score of 87!
How is it possible you cry? Fear not, we went through his sheet with a fine toothed comb to ensure that his score was 100% legit and he passed the auditors with a clear bill of health. Although anyone who saw Stephen playing a combination of Zombie Dice and Magic spontaneously in the middle of the pathway on the grass, just to get an achievement, would probably be convinced of just how far he’s willing to go in order to get those achievements! Interestingly, this means Steve holds the title of both Icon 2014 and Geekfest 2015. He clearly has a knack for this!
Stephen has won himself an amazing Cloudgate Media Server and a Shiny Champions medal (Crafted by Fairy Fountain) which we hope he will wear to the next challenge proudly, that others may know who he is that he may be unseated from his throne!
Speaking of thrones… many of you have chosen your side in the war for the Gummy Kings throne… Many of you have sided with the confection king’s monorachy… just what exactly that means, you will have to wait and see in future challenges!
As for the other Challenge winners… well, let’s just say some of your guys hand writing needs a little bit of work! (Seriously… if you name is misspelt you only have yourself to blame!) But I’ve captured all the data and drawn our winners! (Remember, the more tasks you completed, the higher your chance of winning something in the draw!)
